Movie Night

A-manda Creation has a new kit. She is the fastest designer I know. This kit is called Movie Night and it has the best embellishments ever. My problem was that EJ does not watch movies yet. So, I decided to scrapbook some Fall Festival pictures where he first tried popcorn. The kits from Amanda Creations are always so versatile for so many different occasions. When looking at her kits, don't think they are only good for the subject of the title. Make sure you look at all the papers and embellishments and think outside the box. The alphabets she provides are also great. You can purchase the Movie Night kit here.

Look Whoo

I have one more kit from Amanda Creation that came out in the last week. This is a mini kit but has some really cute stuff in it. I chose to use this kit to make the first page of EJ's 2 year old scrapbook. The kit is great for any little boy as well as any other photos. It has a lot of masculine colors and neutral colors that will go with a lot of subjects. You can pick the kit up here.

Timeless

I hate to say it but I have had to return to reality. It has been great having Michael home with us. We did get to spend a few days in Tennessee last week. However, we had to come home early due to getting sick. We have recovered and Michael and I are both returning to work this week.

I have gotten a few scrapbook pages done. Amanda Creation has come out with a kit entitled Timeless. I had a hard time deciding what pictures to use for these pages since they had a vintage feel to them and many had flowers everywhere. It is sometimes hard to scrapbook little boy pictures with flowers. Then, my Granny showed up unexpectedly one night and had on a new shirt she had bought. EJ and I just happened to have on coordinating colors. Well, the rest is history. I hope you enjoy the following two pages. You can purchase this kit here.

Beary Lucky

Amanda Creation has come out with a new kit called Beary Lucky. Of course, the title suggests this kit is for St. Patrick's Day and yes it does include all the needed embellishments, alphabets, and papers for St. Patrick's Day. However, I fell in love with the bright primary colors. Also, it came out just in time for EJ's 2nd Birthday Party which we did in bright primary color balloons to match his shirt I made. I created the following two pages to show how versatile this kit will be. I will post a couple more pages next week for St. Patrick's Day. Hope you enjoy. You can purchase the kit here.

Project 365 Update

Well, I am not exactly caught up on my Project 365 but I was able to organize my February pictures last night and get the calendar page created. I am keeping up pretty well on the picture a day. If not every day, then I have at least several different activities from one day that I can spread out over the week. My main goal has become documenting all the activities of EJ's life and watching how he is changing throughout the year. If you look on the 29th of February, Daddy came home for his first appearance in the 2012 photo album and EJ has been loving every minute they spend together!!
