Happy Birthday EJ!!

Well, my baby turns 2 today. I can't believe he is still with us and will be with us forever. We have never made it this far in age with any of our children. These are such fun times as well as trying times. Time out is a game we seem to play often. Pops on the leg occasionally have a little more affect on him. But for the most part we are playing our little hearts out. We are actually celebrating all week and part of next week. We had pictures made but they are not back yet. He actually sat still and smiled for the camera. I love this little boy so much and look forward to many more birthday celebrations. The pictures below was part of his Valentine's Day picture shoot for his Daddy. He had a blast. He does not have pants on in the middle of January because he chose to walk in the water and we had to take them off. It was warm enough that he could play in his shirt and diaper.

Purple Petals

Amanda Creations has a new kit in her store called Purple Petals. This kit is not a theme kit rather it is based around the color purple. I was kind of wondering how I would use this kit with pictures of my little boy but the kit is very versatile and can be used for boys and girls. Project 365 Update

Well, I am a little behind on my pages for my Project 365 but I am still taking pictures of my favorite subject every day. EJ is growing so quickly. We no longer have a baby. I can't believe he is about to be 2 years old. He does exciting things almost every day. Last night and today I have completed Janaury layouts for my Project 365. I am including 2 layouts that finish out the month and put us into February.

Love Monster

A-manda Creation has come up with another great kit for Valentine's Day. It is not your typical pink and reds but more bright colors of pink, purple, orange, and blue. Perfect for my little man any time of the year. I picked out pictures of EJ playing around the house in his pajamas. The orange in his shirt blends well with the orange in the kit.

Happy Valentine's Day

It is so exciting to have a little boy to fix Valentine's for. I have waited so long to be able to do these "mommy" tasks. As usual, I am still a last minute get it done person. So, last night at 11:30 I was finishing up EJ's gifts for his teachers and his classmates.

These are embroidered felt items with patterns purchased from Embroidery Garden. I made bonbons for his two teachers that we absolutely love, Ms. Jovie and Ms. Felesha. Then I made the Bee Mine bees for each of his classmates and Michael his best buddy. These are designed to cover Hershey Nugget bars. They turned out really cute.

On the way to school, we had to go by Papa's to take his Birthday present so we got a couple of shots there as well.

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day. I can't imagine being loved anymore than by the two most important gentlemen in my family - Michael and EJ.

I sell many more items through word of mouth among my friends. I will never be able to quit my day job but I do enjoy the extra funds to do special things for EJ. Exciting News

If you have been looking around my blog, you may have noticed the Creative Teams section on the right and under it A-manda Creation is flashing. Well, I am excited to say that I was selected to be on a digital scrapbooking Creative Team for this creator. I love her kits and love working with them so it is a pleasure to get to share them with all of you. With each kit she puts out, I will create layouts and share them with you.
